RCT or root canaltreatment is required when you feel pain in your teeth. This happens when there is a cavity in the tooth or there is infection near the root. This can be sorted with a simple procedure- root canal treatment.
The tooth is first anesthetized using local anesthesia. Then a small hole is drilled in and the nerve is removed, thus making the tooth dead. This takes away the pain.
