Fire Forces Victims Out Window & Fire Escapes

1.13.2020 | by Adam Balhetchet | BENSONHURST, Brooklyn - Five people were injured in a fire. It happened at 9 am Monday at 2402 Benson Ave. That is when residents escaped from the fire escapes and even out the windows. One woman was seen in dramatic video hanging outside of her window without access to a fire escape, and police and firefighters down below setting up a ladder to rescue her. Five people were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition. Fire marshalls will determine the cause of the fire.
