The 8 car 1959/1962 tube stock train calls at Roding Valley station and I get to see inside part of the train.

Whilst there a 1992ts train travelling in the opposite direction passes by.

The falling leaves sequence was filmed from a bridge over the railway where there is a good view of Newbury Park station.

The purpose of this rat train is to lay a special adhesive substance on the rails. This is to help the train when braking by preventing it from sliding out of control on the slippery slime created in the autumn leaf-fall season when tree leaves fall on to the tracks. Normally this train works at the eastern end of the London Underground Central line and a 5 car train works at the western end of the Central line.

Only 'open air' sections of the railway needs this special treatment - and not the central London portion of the Central line as this is wholly underground.
