The Field Marshall is a British-built tractor you could start with a shotgun shell! Or, you can start a small fire in the engine. So, you've got options! This unique one-cylinder tractor is owned by the Magness family of Maryland. The late Dan Magness was a dairy farmer, an outstanding family man, and a great collector and restorer of unusual farm tractors. His 1949 Field Marshall was just one of his amazing prizes. Dan loved to share the stories and the mechanics of his beautifully restored machines, and here he shows us how he starts up the Field Marshall. Enjoy!
