This is probably one of Brazils most popular snacks and can be found in every cafe, bakery, restaurant and food stand across Brazil.

A deep fried extra crunchy pastry stuffed with savoury or sweet fillings.
This was called Pastel de calabresa com queijo  - Pastel with calabresa and cheese.

It's so good and probably my favourite flavour.

The pastry is so puffy & crunchy and the cheese is extra stringy and gooey - LUSH!

The baked / fried savoury snacks in Brazil are called SALGADOS...
