Learn French – French Listening Comprehension – An eventful drive home (3 levels)

Listening and understanding French at an Intermediate French level can be frustrating.

In this video, I share an anecdote 3 times for 3 levels of difficulty (hard to easy):

00:00 Level 3 (hardest) Spoken French only
02:57 Level 2 (mid) Spoken French with French captions
05:54 Level 1 (easier) Spoken French with translated captions in English

The Intermediate level is a lengthy stage so feel free to fast forward to the right level of Intermediate French Listening for you: Levels 1, 2 or 3.

If you didn’t understand much, remember that repetition helps as it reinforces your neural pathways and over time you’ll understand more and more. Keep practicing your listening skills!
