Flash Sale Powerbanks

After Odette hit the Philippines, many people were left without grid power, and rushed to buy powerbanks online. I bought the top selling powerbanks on a local shopping website and discovered they’re actually fake. They attract buyers through flash sales and despite having thousands of negative reviews, they’re still allowed to sell these fake products. Romoss make good and affordable powerbanks but the ones shown in this video are not genuine Romoss products. Imagine you were hit by Odette and were relying on a free public charging station that is powered by a generator.. You waited one or two weeks because deliveries are delayed, due to closed roads and other transport problems.. Then you finally receive the powerbank, thinking it’s going to help your family stay connected.. only to find out it’s fake and nearly useless🤦 p.s. The capacity tests were done before opening the powerbanks. I just reversed the order of the footage. Also, I know watt hours is a more useful figure to use, because of the mAh rating being based on the internal battery voltage, instead of the 5V output. But in this case, the batteries are so far from their claimed capacity that it really doesn't make much difference
