A year ago who would have though Dodge would be building the world’s most powerful sedan. Well here we are at Summit Point Raceway with the all-new 700+ horsepower beast of a car called the Charger Hellcat.
The 6.2 liter supercharged V-8 powerplant produces 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque which is good enough to propel the very heavy sedan from 0-60 MPH in the 3-second range. The SRT Hellcat comes with a customizable drive mode selector that can be set from street, to sport, to track.
Like the other redesigned members of the 2015 Charge line-up; the Hellcat sees significant improvements to the quality of its interior. The seats are plush but provide enough grip. The materials look great and the standard 8.4” u-Connect infotainment system.
