4 hours of rehearsal. One take. Bonnie: "This video is for those less fortunate than us - the lower working class. The immigrant family working below minimum wage with no leave benefits. The single mother with no choice but to work 2 jobs and still struggling to make ends meet. All co-existing in a world where merit and result is not strongly correlated, resulting in a growing gap between the rich and poor. My parents were part of this, once upon a time; moving to Australia and working to the bone to make ends meet, whilst being bullied by big corporations. How lucky I truly am that I was born here, with easy access to education, so that I can change my destiny. This video is dedicated to one of my favourite dancers, Justine Rancy. Thank you for everything. Special thanks to David Shin; for his incredible touch, and bringing this to life (and Tim for assisting).
