In this video, which is really designed for my cervical coaching clients, I will show you how to test 4 muscle groups in the upper extremities, in attempts to find muscle weakness. Why do I care about muscle weakness? Because if you have nerve root compression from cervical stenosis and/or cervical disc herniation, muscle weakness is a sign that the nerve(s) is(are) in distress and should probably be decompressed more quickly – all depending on your other neurological, orthopedic, and history of injury findings.
