SCARIEST INSECT On EARTH?! The SPINY DEVIL Katydid!

WOW! Have you ever seen a more intimidating looking insect in your life? I might just be inclined to say I haven't! This spiny devil katydid certainly lived up to its name as a fearsome and awe-inspiring carnivorous insect! These large Orthopterans can be found in South America where they spend their nights methodically searching for food. They can and will take down any small animal they can overpower and feed on anything from other insects to lizards and other small vertebrates! How wild is that? Have you ever heard of the spiny devil katydid?
