Tomatoes! I managed to get about 30kg of tomatoes from the fruit and veg haul this month and we were completely out of salsa and pizza sauce, so that is what these ones were destined for!
I base my salsa recipe on the ball recipe.

There's always a juggling act in the beginning period of the grocery haul when it is fresh, because you want to make sure you use up all the food that can't be preserved but you also have all this exciting food to be eaten!
You have to figure out what is most important to handle first and go with it.
