The Great Southern Rail (now
The Great Southern Rail (now Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions) "Overland" passenger service running from Melbourne to Adelaide arrives at Gheringhap in the rain where it crosses a freight train that is waiting in the loop.
In 2009 GSR operated four long distance Australian passenger trains - The Ghan, Indian Pacific, The Overland and The Southern Spirit. JBRE had replaced the Southern Spirit with the Great Southern.
