This is the third video in a 4 part series about the fundamentals of Gradient Boosting. In this video, we show how to build a forest of Gradient Boosted Trees, commonly referred to as just "Gradient Boosting". We show how the gradient of the loss function serves as the right quantity to be fit by each successive tree, to build a forest where each tree tries to improve on the performance of the previous collection.
