June 16th, 2014 - Jack Welch, former CEO of G.E. and a person who stutters, was an honoree at the Freeing Voices, Changing Lives Benefit Gala for the American Institute for Stuttering (AIS). Jack's wife, Suzy Welch, accepted the award on his behalf, and provided this video acceptance speech.

Becky Quick (CNBC co-anchor, Squawk Box) was the mistress of ceremonies, while Jes Staley (J.P. Morgan, BlueMountain Capital) joined Jeck Welch as a fellow honoree. Others in attendance included John Stossel, Sir Harold Evans, Ellis Lankster (CB, NY Jets), Trumaine McBride (CB, NY Giants), Arthur Blank (co-founder, The Home Depot & owner, Atlanta Falcons), Kenneth Langone (co-founder, The Home Depot), and Suzy Welch (author and wife of Jack Welch).
