To live like a soldier on a battlefield, like a gunner who fires M777 or as a serviceman in the service of his country, is done for me! I took up the challenge of putting myself in the shoes of a gunner (a job that lists the most women in military combat trades).
I fired the M777 Howitzer, the largest weapon held by the Canadian Armed Forces to date! WOW! It was very emotional!
Thanks to the members of Battery X of the 5th Canadian Light Artillery Regiment, the Commander of the 5 RALC Lieutenant-Colonel Bégin and the 2nd Canadian Division. Thank you to the Valcartier military base for receiving me. 🙏
The job of military is a wonderful job, I did not think I was going to have a crush as huge for the operation. Teams are united, supportive, disciplined and always ready to help. I loved my experience in the military and I highly recommend you always go out of your comfort zone. It is through our crazy experiences that we grow up!
