How to Open a MS DOS Application After Saving a File in WordPad or Notepad

If you've ever save a document, either using WordPad or Notepad, and saved it using an invalid extension name, such as.com, it will not save in its original format, instead it will be called a MS-DOS file which cannot be opened within Windows.

However, there's a simple way to fix this by using a free program called WinRAR.
