After making English Scones for
After making English Scones for the first time, I decided to make American Southern-style Buttermilk Biscuits as well! Why? Because it is forever confusing to both Brits and Americans what the difference is between SCONES and American BISCUITS.
A point of further confusion among Brits is what on Earth “Biscuits and Gravy” is really like. The name conjures up a very weird picture in the mind of Britons and I’m here to explain and demonstrate what that is all about… by making Bacon Gravy the way my mama taught me!
Watch my first attempt at making a very easy, simple recipe for Biscuits and see if I succeed or fail! Then see if I still remember how to make Bacon Gravy after decades of not making it…
