Kayak DUCK HUNTING A Tiny ICE HOLE (Big Flocks!)

Sitting next to a small ice hole in my kayak, during a hard freeze is my favorite way to duck hunt and on this cold Virginia morning all the ingredients came together for a really special morning of waterfowling. We barely made it to the spot in time, but as soon as the decoys were out and we had tucked back in the brush the ducks started dumping in! As mallards and woodies passed through the decoys, we were able to pick off a mixed bag of drakes at close range.
