Router on a Stick (Know How & Why it is called so)
One Line Definition:  Single Router Physical Interface That Connects All Those Vlans Configured via Sub-Interfaces (Virtual/Logical Interfaces)  for Inter-Vlan Communication.
Key Points:
(1) Multiple Virtual/Logical Sub-interfaces From Just Single Physical Interface
(2) Each Sub-Interfaces Serve as a Gateway for Each Vlans in a Switch
(3) Router & Switch both Connects to a Single Trunk Link

Router On a Stick concept in computer networking is very useful while working in the real time scenario and this video tutorial is made for those engineers who are looking for support or implementation of such scenario based requirement to their corporate offices.  Moreover, hands-on lab practical is performed on real devices, not on Packet Tracer or GNS3 simulator. This may give viewing engineers a better learning experience.
Router On A Stick is nothing but a splitting router’s one physical interface into many logical interfaces or called as sub-interfaces. The reason behind this is, router generally comes with 2 or 4 ports but we may have or requirement of more than 4 Vlans. Connecting Each Vlan to router’s one and one physical interfaces is not possible here. Therefore, we need to divide one physical interface to some more as per our requirement.  Each Sub-Interface serves as default gateway address for each Vlan or Subnet as per allocation of Sub-Interfaces with the Vlan or Subnet.
