In the fourth update from our spring barley variety trials site of the 2024 growing season, Agrochemical & Technical Director David Cairns dives into the differences in maturity and yield between Golden Promise, Diablo, and Laureate, highlighting his happiness with how the varieties are looking.
David also briefly discusses the 2024 winter barley harvest, which has seen high screenings and yields being lower than average due to the recent weather patterns we have experienced; however, he is optimistic that there is time for this to improve.
