يتناول المسلسل أيضاً ثورة الشعب على الظلم من جهة وعلاقة الشعب والحاكم بالغزو من جهة أخرى.

This Series tackles the story of Shahrazad and Shahryar from a
human perspective away from the legendary fairytales, focusing on the situation that brought the two together and how a simple
girl can change the ways of a sultan whose basic problem was finding love; something he could
not find with any other girl he had previously married. The
secondary theme of the production concerns the people’s
evolution against oppression on the
one hand, and the relationship between the people and the invading ruler on the other; a subject
dealing with political upheaval not far from reality.
