HMX Lotus | TGR Tomo Sound Test

Just when I thought HMX couldn't offer a better value switch they come out with these Lotus switches. The inclusion of an artisan container for a batch of switches that have a plug-and-play quality experience stock at just $0.35 is, to me, mind boggling in a market full of $0.60+ switches that come with little or no factory lube. I surely sound like a broken record at this point praising HMX, and I will continue with this praise until we see more manufacturers offering similar quality products at similar prices.
Let's get into the specifics of the switch. Is there anything that makes these stand out compared to previous HMX offerings? Well.. sort of? The top housing is made from a blend that I haven't seen before (PA12 + PA11 nylon) and the bottom housing is made from P2 nylon. These letters and numbers don't mean too much to me without specifics, which I wish HMX would disclose, but my guess based on other HMX is that P2 has 20% fiberglass added, giving the Lotus switches that signature high-pitched bottom-out sound. The top housings are made from PA12 + PA11, and sound similar to the top housings of the Cloud switches, those being made from PA12 nylon. Lotus has a 3.5mm travel distance, similar to Canglan V2s and Sunset Gleams/DuckDucks, resulting in a firm bottom-out feeling.
As for the board, the PP plate in an O-ring configuration results in a nice poppy sound signature. The more I use this board the more impressed I am with it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end 75% board.

-Bottom Housing: P2 Nylon (My guess is 20% fiberglass and some PTFE along with PA66)
-Stem: POM
-Spring: 22mm single-stage, 50gf bottom-out
-Travel: 3.5mm

-No foams
