Trial Date Set for Ohio Woman Who Giggled in Court After Allegedly Killing 3-Year-Old

Bionca Ellis, the woman accused of fatally stabbing a 3-year-old boy and injuring his mom, was in court on Monday for a pre-trial hearing. A judge set a tentative trial date for December 9.

The deadly incident unraveled outside a grocery store in North Olmsted on June 3. Authorities said Eliis stabbed 3-year-old Julian Wood to death in a random attack on the child and his mother. She was arrested almost immediately. The woman allegedly still had the murder weapon in hand when police arrived. Her bond is set at $5 million.
