This set comes with a replica of the original Thomas the Train. Did you know that the very first Thomas The Tank Engine was handcrafted and carved out of a Wooden Broomstick? It's True! The Rev W Awdry created Thomas The Tank Engine over 70 Year ago! Thomas the Tank engine has become one of the biggest Toy Brands of all time, and Mattel continues this success by releasing this brand new 2015 Thomas Wooden Railway 70th Anniversary Limited Edition Thomas Gift Pack which included a 2015 Thomas, as well as a 1942 Replica of the original 1st Thomas ever created. This is an amazing Thomas Wooden Railway toy train 2 pack that I highly recommend to anyone who is even remotely interested in Thomas, as it shines with so much nostalgia!
Mattel Fisher Price has done an amazing job paying their respects to the Rev W. Awdry in this 70th anniversary release. I truly hope that Mattel can continue this success with the rest of the 70th anniversary releases yet to come. 2015 looks to be a great year for the Thomas Wooden Railway.
