Naveen Nischal, a famous actor of the 90s, was born on 19 March 1946 in Lahore. Naveen Nischal, fond of acting, did his studies from the Military School in Bengaluru. After that he came to Mumbai. Film producer and director Mohan Sehgal, his father's friend in Mumbai, advised him to learn acting from FTII, after which he took admission in FTII.Naveen Nischal started his film career with actress Rekha with 'Sawan Bhado'. His very first film was a hit and he started getting success. In one of his interviews, he had said that after doing 'Saavan Bhado' he never had to look back. After this he worked in many great films and started ruling the hearts of people.He used his acting magic in many great films like 'Buddha Mil Gaya', 'Victoria No. 203', 'Dharma', 'Woh Main Nahi', 'Parvana', 'Hanste Zakhm'. Naveen had worked with every big actress of her time, but her magic started waning after some time. The reason for this was his not behaving properly with his co-actors, not following the advice of the producer and director and throwing tantrums on the sets. For this reason people also started disliking him.Naveen Nischal married Dev Anand's granddaughter Neelu Kapoor. Both have two daughters Natasha and Nomita. At the same time, there were reports that Naveen was having an affair with co-star Padmini Kapila, due to which they got divorced. After this he did not even live with Padmini. In the year 1996, he married for the second time. His wife Geetanjali committed suicide in 2006 and accused Naveen of torture. Naveen also went to jail in this case but after some time came out on bail.He was last seen in the film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. He also worked in many TV shows like 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', 'Aashirvaad' and 'Farman'. On March 19, 2011, when he was going to Pune to celebrate Holi with his friends, he died of a heart attack on the way. He had always said that he wanted a quick and painless death and something similar happened with him.
