This is rental car number 72. Today I'm driving the 2018 Audi A6 2.0T Quattro. This is a four door luxury sedan that retails for $49,700 to $61,400 depending on the trim level you select. I drove the A6 on a cold day in January with four inches of fresh snow fall. I'm always a little cautious when I drive in snow in a brand new rental, but the Audi had me feeling confident within a few minutes. The "Quattro" all-wheel drive is legit. It worked fantastically in the snow. So well, in fact, I think I might have driving a bit too fast. As for the interior, it feels very luxurious. And I say that hesitantly, because I don't like throwing around words like "luxury", but if fits with the Audi A6. The leather seats are comfortable, all the controls are designed well and easy to reach, and overall the cars feels...well expensive. I typically drive rentals that retails for about $35k and I could EASY tell I was in a higher end vehicle. And I loved it. Seriously, after driving the A6 for 3 days I was very reluctant to give it back. In a perfect world I'd keep this car for the rest of the winter. Real quick, before I wrap up I just want to address two criticisms I have about this car. Number 1: no remote start. Are you kidding me Audi! Fifty thousand plus dollars and I don't get a remote start? I had to find this out the hard way too. A quick google search said you can push the lock button three times to remote start the AG...LIES! Thankfully the car heats up quickly, so it wasn't a huge issue. But I was a bit disappointed. Criticism number 2: poor bluetooth connectivity. I had all kinds of problems getting my phone to connect to the A6. The initial set up was easy, it only took a minute or so get things set up, but after that...all kinds of issue. My A6 would recognize my phone each time I restarted the car, so I had to manually connect it via the setting screen on the center display. I also had issues with the audio going in an out while driving. This could easily be an issue with MY rental, but I don't think it was me or my phone. I connect my phone via bluetooth to at least two vehicles a week and I rarely have problems...and never like this. I even disconnected everything and rebooted TWICE and it still didn't fix the issue. But beyond those two minor complaints, I really loved this car. I hope I get a chance to drive it again soon. So that's it. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you join me next time when I rent my 73 rental car. It'll be the 2017 Ford Flex Limited. I'll see you then! My favorite SPECs: + Engine: Four-cylinder + Transmission: 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission with quattro all-wheel drive + 0-60 mph: 5.8 seconds + Top track speed: 130 mph + Horsepower: 252 + Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights + LED Taillights and rear fog lights. + Integrated twin-trapezoidal exhaust outlets (dual exhaust) + Heated windshield washer nozzles (what!?!)
