This video is the second in a series highlighting the importance of emergency response planning in forestry operations, particularly on steep slopes.  Conducting regular emergency response drills allows employers to verify the effectiveness of their plans, identify weaknesses and implement improvements based on the results of each drill.

Forestry operations in BC are becoming increasingly remote, and the terrain more difficult.  This can make it more difficult to reach a worker that requires medical aid potentially resulting in a loss of valuable time.  The video demonstrates challenges that crews should consider and be prepared for which will help to ensure all workers know how to respond to an incident.
