How to Sign out of Signal Desktop/Mac Permanently in 2 Ways

here are the steps for logout the Signal app on Mac/Desktop in 2 different ways, from Desktop mac or Remotely from your Phone. Permanently remove a user account from the Signal desktop app, Sign out Signal on Desktop or Laptop in alternate ways.

Open the signal app on the Mac desktop. and click on the profile icon at the top left corner of the app window screen.
Click on the Preferences option. Scroll to Last and Select, Clear all Data.
This process will take 10 to 15 seconds. Using this method user will delete all of this application's saved account information, including all contacts and all messages. You can always link with your mobile device again, but that will not restore deleted messages. Click on Delete all Data.

Another Method to logout of the Signal app on Mac or Desktop is remotely logout the Signal login section on Desktop.
Make sure your mobile has an active internet connection, and You have a mobile Signal app that signed in with the same account.
Open the signal app on your Phone either iOS or Android. then Tap on the profile icon at the top left corner of the screen.
Now, Tap on the Linked devices option, and Tap on the Edit option to remove Your Logged into your account.
and Tap on the Red minus sign, and Tap on the Unlink option.
So you will get a popup message this device will no longer able to send or receive messages if it is unlinked.
Tap on unlink and that's it.
Now, on your Desktop signal app, you will see the Re-link option. Click on it and reconnect your phone and log in again. here's my video on how to setup Signal on the desktop.
