Holidays Family Trip to Italy: Spending the Day in Florence . رحلة عائلية للعطلات إلى إيطاليا: قضاء اليوم في فلورنسا . Our day in Florence started with a visit to Basilica di Santa Croce, it is a minor basilica and the principal Franciscan church of Florence, Italy, situated on the Piazza di Santa Croce. At Lindt we had the best hot chocolate real, intense, not milky, the panettone is upscaled, very moist, sticky, aromatic with very enjoyable chocolate. The pasta at Antica Casa Torre is fresh, al dente, the ingredients are premium, and the restaurant is super recommended. Ended the day visiting the Westin Excelsior hotel that I already visited in 2012. . Follow our steps in Italy: The YouTube playlist:    • Italy - رحلاتي إلى إيطاليا   . San Gimignano is an Italian hill town in Tuscany, southwest of Florence. Encircled by 13th-century walls, its old town centers on Piazza della Cisterna, a triangular square lined with medieval houses. It has a skyline of medieval towers, including the stone Torre Grossa. The Duomo di San Gimignano is a 12th-century church with frescoes by Ghirlandaio in its Santa Fina Chapel. . Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto. The Galleria dell'Accademia displays Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation.” .
