“I think I’ve seen this film before and I didn’t like the ending…”

I know everyone is using this song, but it’s my favorite from folklore and it gave an awesome opportunity to bring back some serious Upstead angst. I tried to highlight the previous (failed or fatal, yikes) workplace relationships that both Jay and Hailey have been in. A lot of anti-Upsteaders want to use those as reasons they shouldn’t be together. But I look at the parallels and see how powerful their feelings for each other must be. They can’t help but fall in love with each other, even knowing how it hasn’t worked out in the past. It’s worth the risk to them and that means everything. I can't wait until next season!
