ई गीत स्वस्ति जी अपना भारत भ्रमण (जुलाई-अगस्त 2018) के दौरान, दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा मैथिली-भोजपुरी अकादमी के संस्कार गीतन के कार्यक्रम में गवले रहली; आ सभके ख़ूब पसन परल रहे।
यह विवाह गीत, बारात के आगमन के समय का है। दशरथ जी अपने चारों पुत्रों के साथ घोड़े पर सवार होकर बारात लेकर निकले हैं। मिथिला की गलियाँ बारातियों के स्वागत में सजी हुई हैं; कोठा-अटारी पर नारियाँ दूल्हे की एक झलक देखने को अटी पड़ी हैं।
गीत के सबसे मार्मिक अंतरा ऊ बा जवना में सीता जी के माई के हृदय के स्थिति के बरनन बा।
जसहीं गाजा-बाजा के मधुर आवाज़ कान में पड़त बा त एक ओर हिरदे मारे आनंद के हिलोर लेबे लागत बा त साथे-साथ अपना बेटी से बिछुड़े के सोच के करेजा टघरे लागत बा।
This "vivah geet" (wedding song) was performed by Swasti Pandey during her India tour in July-2018. This specifc event was organized by Maithili Bhojpuri Academy, Govt. of Delhi and supported by Aakhar group.
The song describes the pomp and show of the wedding procession ("baraat") of Lord Ram and his brothers along with their father, Raja Dashrath. The bylanes and streets of Mithila are all decked up to welcome the guests or the "baratis" while the terraces and roof tops are crowded with the women who are eager to catch a glimpse of the bridegroom.
