Locro / Argentina

I love to cook, it makes me so happy. I'm not anywhere near professional but I think passion is important in cooking. I like trying new things and there is just so much food around the world that is never talked about or highlighted. I have decided to go through every country and I'm also doing every state in the United States and creating a dish from that place. I'm excited for this journey.
    First up is Argentina's Locro! This was an interesting dish. From all of my research on this dish I found the seasoning is pretty much the same, paprika, cumin, bay leaf and of course salt and pepper. The amounts of seasoning are not that much either, it kind of threw me off, but I soon realized that all the flavors come together at the end with the addition of the chimichurri. Do not skip the chimichurri, it makes the dish!
