The A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia Thin is a classic time-only dress watch with thin profile and clean dial. This is the first generation originally released in 2011, with the dial style in production from 2011-2015. The 40mm white gold case is only 6mm thick, easily sliding under any sleeve. From lug to lug, the watch is 46.5mm. The watch is not a light watch on the wrist, you can really feel the white gold on the wrist.
The strap is very traditional; a medium brown monotone stitch with minimal bolstering. The classic Lange pin buckle is in place, securing it on the wrist.
The first generation dial you see here feature shorter stick indices with white gold dots around the outside. The watch features elegant Alpha hands which are a bit more graceful than other styles. There is alternating polished and satin elements. Even the lugs have a nice crisp bevel along the sides.
Through the case back you see the Lange 093.1 hand wind calibre. The watch holds a 72-hour power reserve, meaning you won't need to wind it daily. The finish on the movement is second to none. You're getting the same standard of finish in a more entry level Lange as you would with a grand complication. you can see all the small details and hand finishing, setting the watch apart.
