نشت یابی و نشت گیری استخر
استخر ممکن است به دلایل مختلفی نشت پیدا کند. شاید عمومی‌ترین دلیل آن ساختار ضعیف کف استخر باشد. قسمت‌هایی از شن و ماسه یا شکستگی در کف استخر که در زمان ساخت به وسیله خاک به طور کامل پوشانده نشده است ممکن است در نهایت نشت کند. در استخرهای قدیمی‌تر ممکن است به دلیل نشت از لوله‌های خروجی زنگ‌زده آب به سطح زیر استخر نشت کند. همچنین ممکن است نشت در اطراف مخازن یا روی آب‌بند به دلیل گسترش یافتن ریشه درختان یا سوراخ ایجاد شده توسط موش‌ها ایجاد شود.
