The new government will take oath on June 12, and the Chief Minister has promised to grant Interim Relief (IR) and implement a better PRC.

The previous government denied IR and assured the 12th PRC implementation by July, but the PRC Commission hasn't started its work. The new government plans to announce IR soon.

The 12th PRC, established under GO 68 last July, led by Dr. Manmohan Singh, includes nine members but hasn't started consultations yet. The committee's term ends in June and may be extended by six months, possibly with an interim report.

IR might be at least 27%, considering the previous government's 27% IR before it was reduced to 23%. Some believe the PRC Committee may submit a temporary report for the IR announcement.

PRC implementation and fitment may take three to six months as the committee starts its work, gathers proposals, holds discussions, and submits a report.

A new schedule for clearing ₹21,000 crores in arrears (SL, MR, GIS, GPF, APGLI, TA, DA, DR, PRC) is expected after June 12, with payments likely to begin accordingly.
