Death "Politicians In My Eyes" 1st Punk Band From Detroit M.C. Muscle 8 -18-18

Death, Detroit’s First Punk Rock Band recorded, “Keep On Knocking” and “Politicians In My Eyes in 1975, released it in 1976. The songs got two airplay’s on a local cutting edge radio station. Clive Davis, then president of Columbia Records wanted to sign the guys, but he asked them to change their name, they said no. Now 40 years later that record is worth thousands of dollars. I met the guys over the weekend and they were real cool. They were glad to be back in their hometown of Detroit. They have a documentary movie, “A Band Called Death.”
