I have a vocal cord tumor and have undergone 30 rounds of radiation and 6 rounds of chemotherapy. As a result of my treatment, I no longer feel hungry, my mouth is covered with blisters, and I must consume bland food.
Answer:
All of this may be the result of chemoradiation, but the good news is that it may be fixed.
Mouth dryness can be brought on by radiation, which is why you're experiencing these problems.
Your doctor may prescribe medication for your mouth dryness; follow instructions carefully and everything will be OK.
