Today we are exploring the Bhujiya hill or (Bhujiyo dungar)

Location: Bhujio dungar is located between bhuj city and madhapar. It is about 3kilometers away from the railway station.

The view of the bhuj city from this hill is very beautiful..! Especially in the sunset. The atmosphere here in the evening gives peace of mind.

History: The fort was built between 1715 to 1741. King Rao Godji started work on bhujia fort in 1715, and later Maharao Deshalji completed the construction of the fort in 1741.

The fort was built to protect the city of Bhuj. so people can stay safely

The height of the fort is 160 meters, and the wall of the fort is about 7km long. In 2001 earthquakes attacks the fort wall but it is still in strong condition. This fort has seen 6 big battels..!

Due to the importance of nagdevta here, A temple of nagdevta was built on this bhujiya hill and Nag Panchami festival is celebrated here every year.
