One concern in hybrid vehicle mechanical testing is how to do a compression test. Because the engine is cranking at over 1100 RPM, you need another way of running the engine to do your test. With AutoEnginuity hooked up and “cranking request” selected, the engine will crank over for 250 RPM while you perform your tests, so you can do your compression test until the key is shut off.
