Christina Tournant's Story

Christina Tournant was a bright young women who struggled profoundly with POTS and related health issues. Tragically, she took her own life in 2015 because she could no longer tolerate the relentless symptoms. Her mother, Tava Wilson, has dedicated herself to advocating on behalf of POTS patients so that others don't have to suffer undiagnosed and untreated for years like Christina did. She shared Christina's story during a physician education course Dysautonomia International organized with Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on May 6, 2016.
