I use to hate cleaning the microwave with all the stubborn stuck on food splatters, but that changed when I found this simple way to steam and wipe away the mess. There are no harmful chemicals. All you need is lemon juice concentrate, water, and a microwave safe container. Set your microwave for ten minutes, walk away, and upon your return you can simple wipe away debris with a damp cloth. This environmentally friendly cleaning method is a real time saver.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 C lemon juice concrete
1 C water
DIRECTIONS:
Place the lemon juice concentrate and water in a microwave safe container. Close the door. Set the microwave to run for ten minutes. The liquid will boil and steam. After the time is up, leave the microwave door closed for another five minutes. Then carefully remove the container of liquid. Wipe the interior surfaces with a damp cloth. Lastly, admire your gleaming microwave oven!
