How to Get Rid of Ants in your Car

Here's how to get rid of ants in the car using a few household items. While vacuuming will get rid of visible ants, it won't take care of the underlying problem. Ants can hide out in the nooks and crannies of your car without you noticing.

If you would prefer not to use a commercial ant killer, you can make your own spray with natural ingredients. Mix an essential oil with a bit of soap and water and spray around your car. Ants tend to steer clear of strong odors like lavender, pepper, and mint.
