Shah went on to claim that the opposition Congress party would face difficulties in maintaining its current seat count in the Lok Sabha. Addressing a public gathering, Shah shared his perspective after personally distributing 44,703 appointment letters to successful candidates for Assam government jobs. The seasoned BJP leader accused the Congress of harbouring a "negative attitude" and criticised their decision to boycott the scheduled inauguration of the new Parliament building, alleging political maneauvering on their part.
