Lloydminster community housing conference

Housing and Homelessness was one of the seven priorities identified in the 2022 Community Social Needs Assessment. In 2023, work began on a Housing Needs Assessment and Strategy to explore the full spectrum of housing and homelessness, from the experience of being unhoused to market home ownership.

The Housing Needs Assessment Conference will provide community members, groups, organizations and housing stakeholders an opportunity to validate the findings of the report and continue to build collaborative strategies toward implementation. Results from the point-in-time homelessness count that occurred on October 18, 2023, were also shared during the conference.
