Get Dressed With Me - 1870s Bustle Dress

Join me as I dress in my full 1870's Bustle Era ensemble, which features three different looks for day and evening wear! This gown is directly based on an extant gown in the FIT Museum collection, and I based the day bodice on a dress in Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion. Everything I am wearing was handmade by me. I used TV261 for the skirt pattern, and Simplicity 5726 for the chemise. Everything else was hand drafted by me, with some guidance from Janet Arnold.
