Pashto Singer Ghazala Javed's husband arrested for her murder Malik Jahangir Khan 2012 PESHAWAR: Famous Pashto singer Ghazala Javed's ex-husband Jahangir Khan has been caught from Hindko Damaan who was named as her killer, Geo News reported.
Ghazala Javed and her Father were killed in Shab Dhagri Garden Peshawar on June 18 in a firing incident.
Jahangir Khan and his two companions have been pointed as accused in FIR.
SP City Asif Iqbal told Geo news that Jahangir Khan has been arrested and police are trying to catch his companions and they will be taken into custody soon.

The main suspect behind Pashto singer Ghazala Javed and her father's murder was arrested in a raid in Hindku Daman village on Wednesday afternoon.
Jehangir, who was the ex-husband of Javed, was arrested in an operation led by City DSP Haji Imtiaz and SHA Shah Qabool. "When she applied for a divorce she got it," Jehangir said, adding "Ending her relationship with me was her right." He said he would face trial and prove his innocence in court.

PESHAWAR: The former husband of renowned Pashto singer Ghazala Javed- who was accused of murdering her as well as her father was arrested from Peshawar on Wednesday, Express News reported.
Ghazala was gunned down by unidentified gunmen outside a beauty parlour in Dabagari, Peshawar on June 18.
Ghazala's younger sister Farhat had filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police accusing her sister's ex-husband Jehangir and his two friends Salam and Naseem of murdering her sister and her father. She told the police that Ghazala had a dispute with Jehangir, from whom she had sought divorce only six months after marriage.
Jahangir was arrested by Peshawar police from his house, while one of the other suspects managed to escape.
According to Express News correspondent Ihtesham Khan, Jahangir denied the charges levelled against him.
According to reports, in a rather expected turn of events, Jahangir Khan who was the ex-husband of famous Pashto singer and dancer Ghazala Javed, was arrested by the Peshawar Police on Wednesday, Aaj News reported.
