Tilachi Poli is the most popular Maharashtrian recipe. It is also known as Tilgul poli. Tilachi poli is specially prepared during the festival of makarsankranti. It is sweet chapati, mainly made using roasted til/sesame seeds, jaggery and whole wheat flour and served with warm ghee. Tilachi poli is a healthy snack for kids. Also, can be a good option while travelling.

Besan – 1/4 cup
बेसन - 1/4 कप
Salt to taste

White Sesame Seeds – 1 cup
सफेद तिल के बीज - 1 कप
Grated Jaggery – 1 cup

Roasted Peanut Powder – 1/4 cup

Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
