My 2010 Chevy Coblat LT has the common “crazy dashboard lights” every now and again.  I’ve tried so many things to cure it with no luck.  This video overviews what I’ve done and shows how to replace the ECM on the car.  We’ll see if a new ECM does the trick.  I’ll update the description and comments if it starts to act up again!

UPDATE: I replaced the ECM on April 12, 2021. It made it about 6 weeks and then had “the issue” again, on May 30. So frustrating!! The ECM has worked great, though, no issues there.
I subsequently changed out the TCM (2010 Chevy Cobalt Transmission Contro...) so check that video out as well.

Update 2: After replacing the TCM on June 5, 2021, the problem came back again on October 7, 2021 (130 days later).  So frustratingly intermittent!  That's a new ECM and TCM without resolving the problem.  BCM next?  Who knows...

You might also get here by searching for problems with your gauge cluster, Cobalt ground issues, bad TCM or ECM grounds.

The car has 134,200 miles on it at the time of making this video.
