Dropper posts have been around in one form or another for a long time, but it's only in recent years that they've become ubiquitous in the mountain bike world. As they've become more popular there, they've started to spread to other disciplines like gravel, but not without some push back. In this video, I talk about why dropper posts are an incredible bike component and how every type of bike from downhill shred machines to road racing mile crushers should have a dropper post.
